Default Studying Spanish in South America

I really want to study Spanish in Argentina or Chile and get in some snowboarding while I'm down there. Has anyone done any of these immersion programs? I've been looking at latinimmersion.com and it seems like one of the cheaper options. I also have no idea how I want to plan this trip. I think I want to have a month of intense study and a month to travel and apply my new language skills. Anyone have any words of wisdom?

I havent done any, but I want to start my year long trip with spanish study in Buenos Aires...I've been looking at Ibero, which looks pretty good.

This site has a pretty good list of schools: http://www.languageschoolsguide.com/Argentina.cfm

Very nice! Argentina is wonderful, but I don't know of any specific immersion programs. I have gone with the program InterExchange, and I'm pretty sure they offer South American programs (it's worldwide), and it's a great program. Plenty of freedom. Check them out!

After realizing its way cheaper to fly to Lima I'm thinking I should study in Cuzco! Its a lot cheaper there than in a large city like Buenos Aires. Right now hanging out in the Peruvian Andes is appealing to me even more than studying Spanish in Bariloche and snowboarding on the weekends. I already live in the Rockies I probably don't NEED to snowboard year round.
