apts. in buenos aires
so yeah, thanks for all the great info on the boards, been a ton of help. i'm currently spending fourish months in central/south america. i've been thinking about renting an apartment and spending a month in buenos aires and was wondering if anyone had done it/had suggestions. there are a bunch of websites but am not sure how valid they all are. also, they all seem to want full payment/deposit at check in in dollars. any suggestions on coming up with 1k in dollars in cash without getting bitten twice on exchange rates? i'v currently just been using an atm card to pull cash as i go.

I hate that site. 
I guess it's their fault kind of, but my friends got a bunch stolen because of it. I dunno, I don't trust it. And that lady got killed. Kind of off topic, but yea.

Yeah, i think we've discussed this topic on here before. As with anything you need to take caution. Overall though, I think Craigslist is a pretty good site and has a good community of users. My buddy found his house, job, car, roommate, and girlfriend. He basically is craig.
Anyways, we have a TPunk member from BA ( florencia9699). You can try to contact her but I suspect she'll see this post and comment soon.
