I was trying to figure out a budget for my trip to SA. Any of you duys have any good advice on the price of food there and how much I should budget per day. Thanks

I would say for brasil a good budget for a day would be 15 US a day. That would allow you to have one semi=extravagant meal a day plus snacks and drinks!
plus an extra 10-20 for liqour!
that budget works for argentina as well as long as you dont drink red bull/vodka!
