if you travel to Buenos Aires
Hi There:
I am a local from BA. It's extrange, but I don't see many post of travelers planning to go to Argentina.
Maybe you don't know Argentina continue being one of the cheapest and safest countries in South America.
BA have a lot of cultural life, and also many places to have fun. Of course you should know our meat + the way we cook it brings you the best dish in the world. And also I could talk of our wines, our football, our women, etc...
In this wide country, from Iguazu falls (2nd world biggets falls) to Ushuaia (the end of the world town) you have maaaany "Must" places to visit, and a very comfortable bus net.
Other nice places to visit are Mendoza province (where 80% of argentine wines is made), or Salta (the beginning of the total Inca trail).
In the city, there are more than 120 hostels (you can see them in the site).
Or, if you like to stay long term and/or be in touch with local people to better know our culture and way of life, I reccomend a guesthouse (One of the 1st gusthouses for foreigners is lodging4all.com.ar).
From the city you can cross in 3hs to Uruguay, a small, nice and quiet country.
If you need some extra info, don't hesitate in email me.
I will make my best to reply.
