correction - they could be mostly naked!

but in their defense, and i'm talking rhetorically here, it really pisses me off when I go to brazilian/latin clubs brazilian carnaval dancing, and i see all these guys drooling over these women and being really crude.

it's just that brazilians, and many other peoples of the world, are so much more comfortable with their bodies and sensuality. it's not a dirty thing. it's a beautiful thing. in Brasil, during carnaval, you see little girls and boys dancing almost naked just with a few pieces of costume or body decor, and it's part of their culture.

it annoys me when people don't understand that, and exploit it visually, psychologically, etc. in these parts.

anyhow, just thinking aloud! heheh...

Ho llemus7.. I really would love to meet you...But I live in Sao Paulo and I`m in Fortaleza cause I have family and friends here. And I`m going to be here until the end of February. Are you sure you don`t want to come to visit this beautiful city?

It's not that I don't want to, but I will be in Rio, until Feb. 26th, and from there I believe I will be heading to Sao Paulo, or Buenos Aires. I don't know what I will do first. either Buenos Aires or Sao Paulo at the end of my trip, which will end up being the begining of March.

Who knows maybe will bump into each other in Sao Paulo with out even knowing we did.

Carisia, I will definitely party for the tpunkers!

Hey guys! come on, I want to hear all of your post-carnaval stories! I went to celebrate with a band called Alo Brasil. It was great, and I danced allllll night! My feet were sore after, and I was lucky not to have any blisters! I hadn't samba'd for a while!

Come on Llemus and B-girl! Give us the low-down on the original festivities there and yonder in Brasil! That is, when you're back to consciousness, right?

HI everybody! Ok Carisia I'll tell you how was my carnival . For six days we had parties everywhere, everyday. On the beach there were some groups playing carnival songs. On the streets people followed "trio elétricos" (big trucks) while famous groups played songs on them. I saw many drunk people kissing, sleeping and having sex on the streets . It was a big mess. But I'm sure everybody had fun! Fortaleza is really a wonderful city. I'm sad I have to leave this city soon. But next carnival I'll be back!

carnaval was great, met so many people out there, partied on the street what they call (bloco's) hopefully i spelled it right.

went to a couple of bars, nightclubs, the beach was great, the churrascarias are amazing!

one funny story was my friend was asking for directions to this girl, and it turned out she had a girlfriend, and her girlfriend was getting jeoulose because she thought my friend was trying to hook up with her, and that girl's girlfriend slaped her and got on a taxi and took off all upset. Jealousy is amazing

cheers b-girl and llemus, sounds like you had a great time! you know llemus, i've heard that a little slap and some fistyness (sp?) can be the prelude to great sex (granted all parties do it voluntarily of course!)!
