Hola!

I'm thinking of working as a tourguide in Peru. Does anybody have experience in working in Peru/South America for a longer time and taking health insurances??
Because probably the money I'll earn will be almost the same as the costs of a health insurance. Everybody I talked to so far just tells me that they don't have an insurance, but don't know if that´s the best option!??

thanks!

Hey elise!

Haven't been to South America, so I can't help you on that As far as insurance is concernced, have you checked out the Travelpunk Insurance link? These rates are good world wide, no matter where you are going, or where you are from; and pretty cheap too!

It's under $1.25 a day! Hopefully you'll earn waaaay more than that each day !

Just food for thought
