Guys! I had such a great time at this hostel!! Perhaps it's not the nicest one, but it was clean, safe, and increadibly friendly!!
It was really comfortable for the traveller, with big enough lockers, it had a comon room with a lot of DVDs in case it was a rainny day. For breakfast they served coffee/tea with 3 croissants. I had a really great time!! And the owner's son is such a sweetheart!! Really great with every traveller, they even went out of their way if they didnt have any more rooms they'd try to find you acommodation at another hostel. There was a couple of Israelis who had planned to go back to Buenos Aires, and only booked for two nights. But as they couldn't get a ride on their third day, and as the hostel ddnt have any available beds they let them crash at the living room (instead of kiking them out). I thought that was really sweet. :friends: Perhaps its not too close to the beach, but it's not a long walk either (and besides, no matter what hotel you are at, unless it's a five star, you have to take the bus to get to the nicer beaches). That being said I thought the price was right (about 20 pesos) and they're members of Hostelling International. Well, if you need more info on Mar del Plata just contact me! Hugs! |
