My Super Duper Wander-o-rama!!
Yay! Ok, so starting in the middle of August 2007 I am going to Europe/UK/Northern Africa and I have no set time limit... So basically I am going to wander aimlessly until I am done... :D
So here is a basic (VERY basic) outline of SOME of the places I'm going to see.. I know most of the cities are main stream, and I would REALLY love to add more smaller cities in each country, I just don't know where to begin. If you have a favourite place that you think I would love (Think beautiful, culture-y, great people, I *LOVE* small towns with lots of character... Feel free to think outside this country list too...) Anyway, let me know, I would really appreciate any sort of input.
Here goes, in semi-alphabetical order....
Austria: Salzburg, Vienna, Graz
Belgium: Antwerp, Ghent, Oostende, Brugge
Bosnia: Jajce, Sarajevo, Mostar
Bulgaria: Sophia
Croatia: Dubrovnik, Dalmatian Islands, Pazin
Cyprus: Lefkosia, Troodos Massif
Czech Republic: Prague, Cesky Krumlov
England: London, York, The Cotswalds
Estonia: Tallinn
France: Paris, Marseilles, Arles, Nice, Evisa, Sarlet-le-Caneda, Vezelay
Georgia: Tbilisi
Germany: Berlin
Greece: Athens, Crete, Dodecanese Islands
Hungary: Budapest, Eger, Peco
Ireland: Dingle, Cork, Dublin, Derry, Belfast, Aran Islands
Italy: Cinque Terra, Rome, Vatican City, Verona, Venice, Florence, Sicily, Siena, Naples, Calabria
Latvia: Riga
Macedonia: Ohrid
Malta: Gozo, Valletta
Montenegro: Budva, Kotor
Poland: Krakow, Warsaw, Auschwitz, Bystrzyca Klodska, Poznan
Portugal: Lisbon
Romania: Sighisoara, Brasov, Bucharest
Russia: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kizhi
Scotland: Glasgow, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, St. Andrew
Serbia: Belgrade
Slovakia: Spisske Podhradie, Kosice, Bratislava
Slovenia: Ljubljana, Piran
Spain: Madrid, Sevilla, Arcos de la Fronteria, Barcelona
Turkey: Istanbul, Cappadocia, Konya, Harran, Van
Ukraine: Kiev
Wales: Conway, Hay-on-Wye
Morocco: Chefchaowen, Tangier, Fes, Marrakesh, Rabat
Algeria: Ghardaia
Tunisia: Sidi Bon Said, Tozeur, Tataouine, Tunis
Egypt: Giza, Cairo

WOW! You're gonna be there the rest of your life time!!!
There's this little town that I wont get to go to, butt you might be able to add to your map. In the south of Germany there's this town called Füsen. It's supposed to be a gorgeous little Alps town, and close to it there's the Neuschvainstein Castle, that I think it's deffinitey worth it, I would do it.... but it's a bit far off my route.

Intensively envious of yours !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful itinerary, good choice as per big cities. And don't worry about the smaller towns, ask around in hostels (the staff is not only there to take registration), talk to locals anf fellow travellers for insights.
The only thing missing, I find, in your itinerary is a stop by the Black Sea either in Romania, Ukrain or Bulgaria.
Did you know you have to get ahead letter of invitations and visas to enter Ukrain and Russia (can't reminder if I told you already ). You'll need to count a few weeks to get everything ready. I believe you can actually do it from any Ukrainian/Russian Embassy abroad, but you better get informations yourself.

Let me second Fussen. It is probably a 3mile/5km walk from Schloss (the actual "town" where Neuschwanstein sits). If you get the Bayern (Bavaria) pass, you will arrive in Fussen by train and take a bus to the start of the path.
My guess is that the accomodation in town is expensive, but you can commute from Munich without too much hassle and if you get an early start and a late finish you can do it all in a day.
What an itinerary! You picked a very nice balance of cities, big/small, touristy/off-the-beaten-path.
Very cool, have fun!

Wowzer, that's an almighty list you have there!
Umm, for England, maybe somewhere in Cornwall, depending on the time of year you'll be here, it could be really nice. During the summer, lots of surfer types head to Cornwall, it has lovely beaches and is pretty beautiful.

wow quite the trek! I dont have much to add, but I think you'll be ok for small towns. Sometimes I just got off the train in a random location that looked cool.Plus, a lot of people do tons of research and are uber helpful when you're there as to which places are supposed to be awesome. Good luck! looks like you'll never leave with a list as ambitious as that!

A couple of points. Firstly, you should really go to Odessa on the Black Sea in Ukraine, it's a great city to hang out in and has some of the best nightlife in Eastern Europe (only in the summer though).
Secondly, do you know the border between Morocco and Algeria is closed? And how are you planning to get between Tunisia and Egypt?
Oh, and why aren't Albania and Moldova on your list? You seem to be going everywhere else and I absolutely loved those two countries. Check out some of my photos at http://s51.photobucket.com/albums/f3.../My%20Travels/.
