Yeah, totally sounds like my trip....the Old Gold Souk is lovely, when you walk behind it you get different sections that sell cellphones, then a little furthur on pashminas, electronics etc.....I stayed in the New Gold Souk with my father when I was over there, also right next to a mosque. I agree, it is such a different culture and its fantastic!!!! Although I do have to say that even though the driving was awful, its like a mini rollercoaster ride and the guys in the taxis are very friendly.......and crossing the roads are hell!!!!
