I'm leaving for Europe on May 31st and I've been working on an itinerary for the last two weeks whenever I get the chance. It's not a day by day plan, more a list of what I'd like to try to see if I have time. I've got 28 days, so let me know if this is totaly unreasonable:
England: London (~3 days)
France: Paris (~3 days)
Belgium: Brussels (<1 day stop-over between Paris and Amsterdam)
Netherlands: Amsterdam (~2 days)
Germany: Cologne (~1 day), Heidelburg (~1 day), Munich (~2 days)
Italy: Venice (~2 days), Florence (~1 day), Rome (~3 days), Naples & Pompeii (~2 days)
Switzerland: Interlaken (~2 days)
Back to London (~1 day by train or <1 by Ryanair)
Total: 24 days + 4 days for travel/flexability
[attachmentid=184] Here is a more detailed listing of what I'd like to see in these places to give you a better idea of my travel plans. If anyone wants to suggest things I should add to my list or remove please let me know... some are things I definatly want to see and others are only things which have been suggested to me by other people or which looked interesting in books. Anything in grey is stuff I was looking at but probably wont make it into the final itinerary.
