Okay, so this is my rough itinerary (more like a to-go list) for my trip in summer 2008. I'll probably be going in late may/early-mid june (depends on when graduation is). I want to stay at least a month, but if money permits, I'm willing to stay until after my 18th birthday (August 11th, 2008). Haha, yes, I know I'm going in the peak season. It's whatev. I'll meet new people :)
- Portugal
- Lisboa (staying with relatives--maybe a week or so?)
- Castle of St. George
- Sintra (Monserrate gardens)
- Cabo da Roca
- Monastary of Batalha
- Porto (a few days, I'm thinking)
- Spain
- France
- Paris (maybe a week, at least in the area, maybe not all in the city)
- Italy
- U.K.
This is a very very very bare minimum list. Do you guys have any suggestions for places to go/see within these countries? Or nearby countries I should think about seeing? I'm really into old buildings, art, churches... old things in general. I like history.
And I like small towns. I really just want to go to a random small village in the middle of France and hang out there for a week. Or maybe Spain. Mmm, any suggestions welcome :)
