first reaction: I'm jealous.

3 full days in Brugge could be a lot, maybe you can rent a bicycle or scooter and check out the Belgian coast for a day.

8 days in Prague sounds like a lot too, but if you are taking a side trip to Cesky Krumlov that probably makes sense. Maybe another day out to Kunta Hora to check out the Bone Church.

Getting from Rome to Florence is pretty easy and quick, check that out if you can.

Yeah, I spent 3 days in Brugge last summer, and I loved every moment, but I did take a day trip to Oostende on the coast. 20 minute train ride, and we were there. Spent most of the day there before heading back to Brugge. You will more than likely find yourself wanting a day trip out.

Other than that, I'm jealous too. Have a blast

Sounds great. Berlin is a cool city, you should enjoy it. I certainly had a nice few days there.

Think you'll branch out from London while you're in England?

Have fun fun fun

ta for your replies! most of my motivation/ideas have come from past tpunk input so its always much appreciated!
with the three days in brugges its really only a rough idea, i can see nick pushing for longer in amsterdam so we are leaving things pretty flexible. and definately keen for florence, maybe florence, rome and somewhere more low key? still more than likely we'll leave that planning till we are under way.. ne one push for venice or milan?
i think days will be a bit in the czech republic but dont want the whole thing to be a push so a little down time at this stage will probably be good. lol as for the kunta hora i have thought bout it but kinda creeps me out lol
nick (who im travelling with)'s dad lives just out of london and he has alot of family there so i know a few days are going to be swallowed with his dads 50th bday etc so not too sure yet, may just break off a few days in so i can venture out a bit (hes staying on till december anyway)
i cant actually believe im going

Well, I'm going to Italy in August (only for a little holiday, just a week), and from where we're staying (at Lake Garda), it's only about an hour and a half on the train to both Milan and Venice, so we're planning on a day to each, just to check them out. I'll let you know what I think!

Thank you! Are you going to be staying with your mate's dad in England then? Whereabouts does he live? (I'm so nosy, I usually live only about 20 mins from London, but I'm at uni during October).

Hey sounds like a great trip.

All I can say is don't wear flipflops to the La Tomatina... you will lose them in the ankle deep of tomatoes. (or so I've been told by a friend who told me stories about the festival)

Sound like a great trip! Its too bad you won't be able to spend more time in Italy it is such an awesome country, I would definitely recommend going to florence for a day trip or an overnight. Pompei is really cool too.
