Instead of Bran, stay in Brasov and take a day trip to visit both Bran and Rasnov castles, which can easily be done on public transport. There is nothing to do in Bran other than visit the castle whereas Brasov is a lovely town in the mountains with some great bars and a laid back atmosphere.

The only other thing is, does your schedule include travelling days? Even if you plan on taking over night buses and trains, you'll still be too tired to do much the following day, so your schedule might be a little tight in places.

To get from Belgrade to Brasov will take you about 16 hours with a change in bucharest.

I was going... "where is Bran?". I agree with everything that's been said so far. Your itinerary IS too tight, why do a 16 hour ride to see the castle quick, then 12 hours back to Hungary ? Let go of a few destinations, or have a more flexible itinerary. Each country has more to offer than what you have planned.

As much as I love Romania, probably my favorite country until now, based on your current itinerary, I'd advise you to skip it. Spend more time in the other countries of your list, and come back some other time to explore deeper into Eastern Europe.

^ I would also drop Salzburg (or just go there for the day on the way to Munich) Brussels, Mostar, and tick a day off Paris. You should add another day on to Barcelona (that is the first city you are arriving in right?) and tack another one on Rome.

I did a whirlwind tour of of Sevilla, Florence, Pisa, Torino, Venice, Rome, Naples, Munich, and Paris all in two weeks. Great time but afterwards I was very happy to not move anywhere for a week. No shame in "taking a day off" here and there. You will have to do laundry, write/call home etc.

Do NOT drop Mostar, it's an incredible town, one of my favourites in Eastern Europe, espiecally if you stay for the night and go to a bar in the old town, then go to the club with the swimming pool (I forget it's name, but it's the only real club near the centre) it really comes to life, plus it's worth it just to see Stari Most (the bridge).

Yeah, I would definitely take a day (or 2) off of paris and add one to rome and perhaps take a day to see the castles in the loire valley? If you're into that kind of thing, they're amazing!
