Pamplona during San Fermin Festival

Hey...
Just wondering if anybody's been to the San Fermin Festival..I'm def looking into that this year if I can squeeze myself in somewhere in the next few days.
Any tips? what did you think of it? and what about doing it solo?
where would i stay to not completely break the budget..thinking outside towns to sleep in maybe instead of Pamplona.
There's prob some more threads but I'm useless.

-Absolutely no accomodation available with the exception of camping with a tour company out of town.
-You do not want to stay for more than a couple nights.

erin, San Fermin cant be described but only experienced. we were there for the first 2days, and believe me when i say that was plenty. as for sleeping, not sure what accommodations there are in or around Pamplona. we were luckly enough to find some quality benches, but do bring a sleeping-bag or blankets if thats the plan. all in all, its just a ridiculous nonstop party and oh yeah theres also something like the running of the bulls?!?!
