So I have my plans and I think that they'll work out (at least I hope so...)
Fri 15 - Last exam
Sat 16 - Partying it up at school
Sun 17 - Xmas with Family
Mon 18-Fri 22- Berlin, Germany
22-Sat 23 - Hamburg, Germany
23-Wed 27 - Odense, Denmark
27- Sun 31 - Copenhagen, Denmark
31-Thurs 4 - Nuernberg, Germany
4-Sun 7 - Prague, Czech Republic
7-Tues 9 - Brno, Czech Republic
9-Sat 13 - Krakow, Poland
13-Wed 17 - Warsaw, Poland
17 - Train to Berlin to go home. =(

That's 35 hours of riding and 31 days. I have friends in Nuernberg and I'll be staying with them, so no need to worry about a hostel for then. How do y'all think Odense will be for Christmas? Would Copenhagen be better? I'm not sure which of my friends will be in town for New Years yet, I have to send out an email, but I can always do the opposite. How would Warsaw be for New Years Eve? Hmmm
Any opinions would be great!

Looks like fun, but keep in mind that travel between cities is going to eat up most of a day and that's a really tight itinerary... so you may want to cut a city out and add a day or two here and there. Otherwise from my guess you'll be totally exhausted with that pace. Have a great time!!

I bet Prague is cool for New Years, probably better than Warsaw. If you can make it Krakow, I would highly recommend it.

I wasn't too thrilled with Warsaw, though it has to be much better now than when I went (early post-Soviet era), so I'd drop Warsaw and distribute the time among a couple of other cities on your list. Krakow's awesome. I'd pick Krakow or Prague for New Years, myself.

What about Poznan instead of Warsaw? It's a several hour difference in train time. And I was thinking that night just take a night train and sleep there to save myself some money on a hostel (and going out) and not worry about taking up tourist-y time.

I'm intrigued you've chosen to stay so many days in Odense! Got friends there or? I' d recommend Copenhagen(I live here) for Christmas if you'd like so see some places and ambience...although I'v never stayed long in Odense...In Copenhagen the town will be lit up everywhere and bustling with people trying to get their last presents bought in time...most things in this country are closed on December 24, 25 and sometimes 26, depending on what you need to visit/buy. I can't give you a proper reason for chosing Copenhagen over Odense other than I myself would fear I would get a bit bored in Odense? Go check out the link Scandinavia summer 2007 - I've put quite a few very good links about Copenhagen - hope it helps!

Other than that: WOW a busy schedule. I hope you've calculated with the travels to and fro the cities but it sounds very exciting!

Here's the link to the thread Scandinavia Summer 20007:

I BOUGHT MY TICKET!
I'm arriving in Munich on Dec 19 and leaving on January 17. Yay I'm so freaking excited!
But now I have like 58 dollars in my bank account. So I seriously need money.

Updated Itinerary:
3 days - Erfurt
5 Days - Berlin
3 days - Dresden
5 days - Prague
3 days - Brno
3 days - Bratislava
3 days - Vienna
5 days - Nuernberg

That looks a little better. Cuts out all the travel time in Poland.
