BTW, I heard bed bugs can survive a year without food and typically come out of hiding (often from behind headboards or under your mattress) at around 3AM (when you're dead asleep), seeking warmth... And be sure to disinfect your luggage - as they love to hitchhike and can be verryy difficult to exterminate if they ever infect your home.
