Im in Tehran, Iran where Fun seems to be illegal. Any T punkers here. Highly Doubt it. I leave for Europe in 19 days so that should be more fun.... Let me know.
|
I'm not there, but I was born there, many many years ago... hoping to go there for an upcoming winter to snowboard at Dizin!
|
so, you're part iranian? cool.

so then do you have iranian citizenship as well, if you were born there? Or did you have to give that up when you moved to the US?
|
Technically, I believe you give up other citizenships when you become an American, but Iran's stance is once a citizen, always a citizen - so yeah, I'm dual :) And I guess as long as one of your parents is from there, you get to have a passport, no matter where you're born.
My sister's lucky that way - she's got Iran by blood, UK by birth, and US by living here. |
Technically, you can have dual citizenship recognized by the American govt. it is just harder to do.... (Currently I am trying to dream up a way to get dual citizenship... my grandfather was born in Canada). Don't know if its possible, but I am going to try! :)
|
I've been looking into getting Norwegian citizenship. But I don't look very (stereotypically) Norwegian, haha. I doubt it will happen but I can dream, can't I??
|
i've been dying to visit iran ever since that boy first pulled my hair bach in the tenth grade, ahhh - hesam... you dirty son of a bitch. *ahem* anyway, i think i'll be creamin' my pants at every turn when i do go, there and lebanon... damn. fucking hell.
|
EDIT: back -haha- not bach.
|
Don't you mean creaming your hejjab? ;)
Actually, it's amazing what the girls can get away with wearing in Iran nowadays, providing there's a headscarf present. The only trouble is, single women aren't allowed into the country - you have to have the written consent of - or be accompanied by - your husband. WTF is up with THAT!? |
i mean, if i travel there with my boy and say slip a ring on my finger, will that suffice? god, this is terrible news. i certainly wanted to do this trip w/o the bf - haha! and yes, creaming my hejjab. damn those smouldering dark eyes and curled eyelashes. BLOODY HELL!

re: what girls are getting away with wearing
this is kind of related... i like to click on the girls faces on the top right of the screen and see their personals. albeit, it's the uae not iran - a tad more liberal i'd say... anyway, haha - it's an old link, but one i enjoyed good and well a while back. |
how many times can i say i miss the edit button - never enough
anyway - you gotta click on the blurriest girl for the personal ads. |
Yeah - UAE is quite different. Although Iran now wants to open up a free-trade zone/resort town to rival Dubai.. Interesting to see how that'll come along.
