Hostel Advice

I know some of you have been to Cairo and I need help finding a hostel. As most of you know, I don't ordinarily stay at hostels. The thing is, we arrive in Cairo so late at night, I don't want to pay top price for a room we'll only use a few hours and to sleep.

I'm hoping to find a safe, CLEAN hostel that offers airport transfer.

Any advice or recommendations are much appreciated.

okay - i booked our stay in cairo, now i need advice for alexandria!!

anyone find a nice place to stay there? i'm thinking about the union hotel or else the crillon? who the hell knows....

The Crillon is probably tres expensive... I'll ask Leila if she can recommend a good place.
