Europe Sept-Oct. 05. Are you up for it?

Hello everyone. I am new here. I am planning a trip to Europe late this fall and as it is I will be traveling alone. Which, is fine, but it would be nice to have a kindred spirit to hang out with along the way. The will be my first Europe trip so I am kinda lost in translation here. I'm going to try and go (funds depending) for about a month. I'm hoping that $2,000 will cover it if i am thrifty. But anyways ill tell you a bit about myself. I'm 21, a female I live in Maine..... Ive wanted to travel the world ever since I can remember...... I'm finally making a plan. So I would prefer females.. or gay males.... or males that are cool... no perverts or crazys. i will be doing the same... leaving for london aug 11th... then going round the UK and making into europe for oktoberfest september 19th... after oktoberfest i plan on going south to italy, greece, spain etc.

i am traveling with a friend till oktoberfest, then i will be going solo from then.... would be great to meet-up with some other folks from here...

let me know where you are headed and if i will be in the same area we can hook up for a beverage or 2...

Hey I going to be in southern Europe mostly Italy France and Spain between 8/22/05 and 9/25/05 this is my first trip back to Europe since I was an exchange student in Italy so I can speak Italian pretty well. I'm looking for a travelling companion too, so let me know if you want to meet up somewhere.

I will be in Rome/Florence between 8/25/05 to 9/7/05. I've never travelled alone and have never been to Italy. Could anyone recommend some decent place to stay in Rome? I am not looking for something too expensive but am a little nervous about staying in mix-dorm style hostels. I am still trying to find accomodation. It would be great to meet up as well if you happen to be in the area.
