Birthday in Spain
During my 3 month trip I will have a Birthday on October 9th. I will be in Spain during this time I think...Would Barcelona, Velencia, or Grenada be the better place to celebrate.

Well first of all...you have the best birthday ever...its the same as mine
Secondly...I think it depends on what kind of a party you want....
Barca is definitely THE party city!
Valencia is more of a chill out on the beach kinda city
and Granada is a "get a free tapas with your drink" kinda city
:D

If you;'re going to party & party hard for your b-day there's only one way to go & that's barcelona. Hands down.

Woohoo I knew there was something great about you Brrokers!
Thanks for the info...It was kinda what I was thinking too...I think I will have to wait and see how my mood is as I get closer I may be ready for a nice chill out day since it will be right after my time in Oktoberfest.
I only have 19 days in Spain and Portugal and there is so much I want to see.

I absolutely don't agree with Brookers about Valencia - she must have missed Valencian nightlife completely. More probably, received bad advice on where to go - there isn't that much party in the Old Town but that part is only a small section of what Valencia has. The Spaniards know Valencia as one of the most party-hungry Spanish locations and the locals so party hard, you just need to know where to find it, check out this for help:
Nightlife in Valencia
In my opinion Barcelona nightlife lacks cultural originality.

nah i had a good time out in valencia...went to some great bars...i just preferred to lounge on the beach all day there and wasnt as interested in the nightlife...
i dont really think any other city in spain compares to barcelona nightlife...but its just my opinion...there are definitely great places in every city!
