Wait, I take it back. The most beautiful place I have been is Havasupi Falls. The 15 mile hike in 110F is worth it when you finally jump into the blue water underneath a 100 foot falls.

It's hard to choose one favourite place although to name a few:
-Salamanca, Spain. I really loved the sandstone buildings, weather, nightlilfe and young beautiful people. I have thought about living here.
-Utrecht, Netherlands. Cute university city complete with bikes and canals.
-Atlas Mountains, Morocco. Trekking the trails with villagers.

Tarragona Spain. I am in heaven here. About an hour south of Barcelona and ten thousand times less tourists. (note see travel thread!)

Well since I haven't really travelled outside of Canada very much, I have to say right now my favourite place is Alberta. All the forest and animals and crazy cowboys. It seems very right-wing, but it's layed back and easy going. Something I admire even in a big city!

I was quite fond of Prague; Cinque Terra, Italy; and De Hoge Veluwe (Park in the Netherlands). I think Cinque Terra is the most gorgeous/romatic place I've ever been.

Hey...there's a post on this page where someone's asking for info on Cinque Terre. Can you help them out, Mowark? I haven't been there myself, so don't know...

I really think Argentina and not just because it is fresh in my mind and I am there now. Toss up between Buenos Aires and Patagonia.

[font=Arial] not necessarily in this order but here goes: Queenstown, NZ, Munich, Key West, Florida ( best hallowen ever), Havana Cuba is an interesting experience but one all should experience. One of the last true Communist/Socialism countries from the cold war. I will let you know about Iceland when i get back this fall.
Cheers-
