What's that word in English??
In the Pariliament or Congress you have the Senators and the....?
I can't remember the word and I'm helping a friend translate her resumè. Anyone know the word I'm looking for?

Nope... it's in most countries though... cause I'm desciing the one in Argentina, but it could be any country (democratic) for that matter.
I'll try with congressmen just in case. She put "deputy"... but I'm not too sure about that translation.

In case you still needed the info:
In Argentina, the lower house is called the Chamber of Deputies, right? Those people would technically be referred to as "deputies," but that term isn't widely used in English-speaking countries. In the US, we call members of our House of Representatives "congressman/woman." I guess it depends on who the resume is targeted toward-- if it's for the US or UK, I'd just say "congressman" or "member of parliament."

The people above have given you the basic answers but I will try to wrap it all together for you to make it clear.
As you have indicated, there are two houses of Congress in the U.S. (similar to Paliament). They are called the Senate and the House of Representatives. People tend to refer to individuals from a specific house as either Representatives or Senators. Collectively they are generally referred to as Congressman/Congresswomen. Hope this helps!
