Hey hey hey!
I'm new to the Travel Punk boards but have travelled quite a bit over the last few years. I just thought it was time to share my stories and any advice I have with the world of travellers here. And now, the introduction:
My name's Mark and I hail from Toronto, Canada. Lived here all my life, I'm 22, in my last year of university and have made several big trips, though the last one is the biggest and most "authentic" by far because I was by myself. Five years ago my parents took me and my brother to Paris and the Loire Valley for two weeks (if you haven't already, check out the Loire), then a few months later I went on a school trip to Rome and the Bay of Naples (an amazing trip even though I caught tonselitis). I also took a two week trip on the homefront, staying with my aunt and uncle in rural Nova Scotia. We drove all over NS and saw some wicked stuff. This summer, I spent my August running around western Europe, specifically southern Germany, northern Italy, Barcelona and Paris and had an amazing time (and I got engaged in Venice). I'm planning on travelling as much as I can for the rest of my life. I might be heading down to Florida for a quick trip in May with my fiance some friends to visit my friend's aunt and uncle.
Cheers!
