Jello everyone my name is Smurgle I just wanted to drop a line to get aquainted with the Board. I'm heading for Europe in the summer of 05 for my first backpacking trip. I was a bit worried at first that I had no idea what I was getting myself into until I found this site, soo many of my questions have been answerd already but I still have a ton more. Talk to you all soon.

Hi Smurgle, what up
Yeah I'm doing my first trip in the summer of '05 as well.
I plan to go in a big circle: London, Paris, Madrid, Libson, Barcelona, Ibiza, Nice, Rome, Venice, Munich, Berlin, Prague, Amsterdam
Does that sound do-able in 2 months?

Hi CB nice to meet ya I dont know 13 stops in 2 months sounds kinda hardcore to me I like to take it easy kinda go with the flow on vacation ya know. I'm just starting to plan my trip out but im hoping I get side tracked into some fun adventures. Sticking to a schedule kinda bums me out.

Cool ty Blakeimus
2 months on your 1st trip sounds great. I was wondering about somethings tho.
How much did you budget for 2 months?
How strict is security cause I'd like to bring my leatherman?
Is there anything you thought you couldn't do without in your pack and then never used?
Did you like the club scene cause I really love going to the goth nites here in ny and would really love to go to some in England or anywhere else in Europe.
and finally I'm going from England to France what do you think is the best way Chunnel, boat, or flying cost and time wise.
TY again
man I love this site I'm either learnig a ton about travelling or laughing my ass off. does'nt get much better than this.
