well welcome polarbear. this is hands-down the best group of people to help you with your travels because if they haven't done it, they know someone who has. and there's so many of us around the world, you will most likely to be able to meet up with at least one of us for a beer somewhere in the world! where are you going in europe?

Welcome to the boards. Nice to see you planning your trip nearly 2 years in advance. I plan lots of trips and itenaries for the future. Its great to have it to look forward to on those rough days Once you get an even better idea of where you may want to go, and get a bit more specific on the info you need, we can help easily. I have been to many of your destinations, and have a ton of info, so ask away

Welcome to Tpunk! In 2 years on this site you will definitely amass a huge amount of travel knowledge.
As someone who did Europe in the April - June period, I think its the best time to do it really. In fact, we have roughly the same starting out itinerary, only I didn't stick to it and I ended up doing a totally different trip. lol The weather is nice and the crowds don't start heating up until around mid May. Hostel prices are not yet through the roof. Many other advantages.

Welcome. You never said where you're from, but if its America, lets hope that between now and 2009, we gain some ground back against the Euro!
