My pack is always my favourite part of my prep as well when I'm getting ready for the trip. Especially when you're buing a new one and you're figuring out all the cool little pockets and functions on it...
What kind of pack do you have?
Where are you headed?

SIZE=7]I off for a year. Fiji, Oz, Nz, and La. Can't wait!!
My pack was a Birthday pressie from my dad, we live in a small town so there wasn't a lot of choice, but it seems to do a fair amount. Took a good 45 mins to find all the bits and peices on it. Impressive amount of zips for a small(ish) bit of material.
Where you off in a year CB?[/SIZE[/i]]

wait, so i missed it. where are you going wonderbird22?
yeah, i just got my first pack in the mail last week. it's a Marmot pack. i was so retardedly excited when it came. i take my first trip with it in about a week and a half. (theodore roosevelt NP in north dakota) and as always, my TP patch is sewn on. not that as many people will see it in the wilderness as much as they might in the cities.
hey, congrats on going on your trip. we're definetly the group that will always be excited about that.
