Hi,

I've just logged in to TPUNK (thanks to an invitation from fellow Baja traveller theJake!) and thought i'd introduce myself as others seem to have done!! I'm a final year student in Nottingham,England. Totally addicted to travelling and can't wait to finish this semester to get out there and do some more. Most of my travel experience has taken me to Latin America (a few solo trips down in Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Mexico, Brazil -not all in one go i might add!). and obviously I try and hope over the channel to Europe anytime i get the chance. Any questions on lil' old england or anyone visiting Nottingham and needs a tour round town than i'd be happy to help. Hopefully be going backpacking in India after exams, so any tips on where to go etc would be most appreciated! (flying into Delhi and out from Bombay).

looking forward to being a part of tpunk!!

Viv.

Yes welcome to our little peice of heaven , i hope not everyone from Nottingham steals from rich people... oh wait im not rich not even in the slightest so maybe it would be cool if you did steal from someone and gave me a little!!
But seriously, good to have yah, im actually gonna be in England in exactly 30 days, Manchester to be exact. Dunno if thats remotely near nottingham, but compared to Canada, im sure its pretty close!!

VIV! YEAH!

YEAH BAJA!

Welcome to tpunk viv! I'm glad you checked it out and hoped you get as addicted as the rest of us. It ends up being our fix when we are unable to travel ourselves and sharing in the joys of others discoveries is much more fun than it sounds!

brucha haba! Welcome aboard!

India, huh? Where/what are you thinking of going/doing? Being a beach bum for a long period of time in Goa is high on my list of to-dos, no mistake! Are you thinking of stopping by Nepal?

If you've got time, tell us about your times in Latin America...what was your favorite experience down there?

Again, welcome! It's great to have you!

Welcome!

We're not all like Jake, though, really, I promise!

Hey Viv, welcome. For your India questions, member amansac is in country, so I'm sure you'd get great info from him.

Hey guys,

Just to let you know i haven't uped and left!! hahaha i've been lurking around reading other people's posts for the last few days. man, this thing is addictive... I definitely will be asking all the questions in the world about INDIA. quite excited already...

As far as travelling experiences go, they're all to memorable to try and put down in one go. But my favourites have to be: Sandboarding in Peru, the saltplanes of Bolivia!! drunken nights in Mexico city, zipolite and Mazunte.. dancing salsa on the baja ferries with lorry drivers! passing out on the beach in valencia, waking up in the dead of night (totally unsafe).. oh, so many more.. If you have any questions about any of those countries, more than happy to help!!

see you on the boards!
