Hi all,
New to boards so I thought I would introduce myself.
My name is Chelsea, 26 yr old gal from Australia. I am married and my husband has been a Chelsea supporter for years which is quite ironic (Hi to ChelseaFC!).
Anyway I am heading to London/Europe for 8 weeks from late Feb-April 2006. A combination of a 3 week Contiki (solo), scientific conference (I'm a PhD student so going to the conference in Nice gets me a paid plane ticket heh heh) and some other travel through Cinque Terre, Milan/Lake Como, Prague and Berlin (all not covered in the Contiki). Plus a couple of weeks in London staying with friends, and possibly a weekender to Barcelona. Phew!
I am ridiculously excited about this trip so no doubt will be visiting the boards a lot for ideas over the next couple of months!
Chels

What a great welcome - thanks guys!!
ChelseaFC - I am in little old Perth. I see you are from Melbourne - I LOVE Melbourne (what female doesn't? shopping is amaaaazing). Have only been there once, earlier this year, but fully intend to return many times heh heh. So much pasta and gelato to eat. And I love the trams, although I nearly got hit by one on the first day!
I am a born organiser so am really enjoying researching my trip - and if I didn't have the free fare it would be a substantially shorter one. I think the highlight will be Cinque terre - just hoping it won't be overrun with tourists, but April shouldn't be too busy hey? I've already scrapped the Lake Como plans to spend an extra night in CT so I hope it's worth it. The only thing is I will be apart from my husband for about 9 weeks in total (he will be in Melbourne for a week before I leave) so that will be a bit tough, but at least I will have lots of things to distract me and hopefully I won't miss him too much!!
