Hello!
Hey!
My name is Sara, I live in Arizona with my husband. We are planning a summer trip to Europe (perks of being a teacher, 2 months off!). I have been snooping around these boards for quite some time and have found a lot of useful information! Thank you for all of that! I'm looking forward to learning more!

Thank you for the welcome! We are planning on doing backpacking/hosteling. I have done it before (1 month in Ireland and 1 month hitting major cities - London, Paris, Rome with a friend) my husband however, has never really traveled. The first time he ever went anywhere was when we went to Vegas 2 years ago!
We are wanting to go to Ireland, England (he really wants to go to Sherwood Forest, HUGE Robin Hood Fan), make our way through Germany (we have some friends around Stuttgart) and spend the majority of the time in Italy.

Hello and welcome! Wherabouts in AZ are you? I live in AZ too, way down south.
I totally recommend Germany - I spent about 2.5 weeks there my first solo trip. I hit up Frankfurt, Koln, Dusseldorf, Stuttgart, Heidelberg, and Munich. Germany is insanely beautiful - especially in the summer!

Pinknic, I currently live in Tempe. I'm glad to hear that Germany is so awesome! My husband has a friend that came here through a student exchange program when they were in high school. He has came out to visit us twice now but we have yet to go there. He is going to be travelling through Germany with us so I know we will hit some good spots in Germany!
