Default It's a new adventure.

Hello wonderful members of TravelPunk!

As you can obviously see, I’m a brand new member and addition to the site and ready to dive into even more of the travelling stories and advice given tips this place seems to be seeping with. Because from what I have read and skimmed through so far, I think I may be able to get though the thought of spending a good few months with just a backpack and my best friend in the various cultures Europe has upon her plains. But let’s start with the basics shall we?

I’m a twenty-year old Canadian girl born on the cost of British Columbia in the flowery city of Victoria. I resided there for thirteen years of my life before moving to a small town just outside of Edmonton, Alberta. My interests range far and long as well as my hobbies which seems to be growing. I like to experience new things, meet new people, and go about life with a smile on my face (even if it gets a bit bumpy- life is short after all!) As for school, well lets just say I’m stuck. I graduated with merit and honours leaving a vast amount of doors open for various opportunities, yet I’m at a complete loss at what I want to do with my life.

Thus here I am!

I’ve travelled all over Canada, and know it darn pretty well. So travelling is something I’ve done, in Canada. As to outside of it, never happened and always had wanted too. Talk about lame huh? So why not do somthing about it while im in limbo with the whole school idea. Europe is the first on my list, and guaranteed you'll see me wanting advice in another thread at some time soon.

Sorry if I becoming annoying!

Cheers!

~Kimberly

Hi Kimberly and welcome on travelpunk.com !

I think it's great that you know your country so well, very few people travel extensively in their own country.

How long are you planning on being in Europe ?

AKguacamole, I'm glad you think so. Nothing beats the west coast even if it's either raining or blazing with sunshine .

atchoum, That's a rather disappointing thought. I can thank my family for it, with them all over the country it was made rather easy. With making various other stops.

As for Europe, five to six months.

travelchick75, It's certainly better then many of the others I have checked out. I'm really hoping to attent one of the meet ups when I'm in Europe next year!
