I have browsed this site and the boards for quite a while, and i now i have decided to contribute. I am planning a month and a half trip to europe this summer with a friend. Going to hit Spain and Portugal, yes small but we dont have a whole lotta time and we are both newbies at the backpacking thing.

Hey there, I spent 2 months in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco last summer so I am your person!!!! Welcome to the boards!

Almost anywhere is a great place to party, no joke but esp. of course the big cities like Madrid and Barcelona, and Lagos Portugal.

Let me know if you have more specific questions.

Gosh, not another newbie!! Just kidding. Welcome to the boards! Well, browse around the boards. There is a general tips section here that you can find some good information. Almost all of the information you'd ever need is here or else someone can usually answer for you.

Don't know about the partying thing but I'm sure other people can offer input!

tecia, Kingcrazylegs and i are from the south surburbs of chicago. i think that we are starting to get quite a few people in indiana these days so it would be great to have you come out to a chicago meet-up.
