<span style=\'colorurple\'>WELCOME TO THE BOARDS, WINDSEY!</span>

You're hitting the beaches of Brittany just after the D-Day anniversary, eh? Sounds nice. Once you get there, why not post some pics of the B&B so we can see your lodgings? We've got plenty of TPers swinging thru Europe this summer, so who knows? You might get some visitors!

Hey there Windsey!!! Hope you enjoy your stay here!
Brittany's a georgous part of France, theres a beach there called 'the rocks', but in french, la rochelles, or something like that....my french is crap.
But the rocky coast is amazing! I bet you have a great time!

Yeah seriously. I plan on being out that way late June/early July and will need a place to stay.

Yesh yesh... Welcome to the Boards... and welcome to da Familia! Another Cali member... I guess there should be quite a few for how many people are in Cali. I've always wanted to see the Bay....

How is Japan... my cousins went there once.. they told me they didn't like the food.

wow i'm feeling the love. and i'll be sure to post picture from brittany. hm. how was japan? - it's a different world i would say for anyone who's not familiar with japanese culture. growing up a 4th generation japanese american, i felt like i was with my grandparents walking through downtown LA's J-town. everything's gorgeous. picturesque. i was in the south and mostly in the countryside. only big city i went to was hiroshima. so i couldn't tell you about the night life. it's very superficial is all i can tell you; you're out just to look cool. but you can say that about a lot of places. and it's hard to meet local ppl because they're shy around strangers and mosty keep to themselves. plus they probably speak zero english. once piece of advice: LEARN JAPANESE. most everday ppl don't speak any english, not even ppl at the information booths.

thanks again for all the welcomes.

That is pretty wild.. but I have heard that English is not very prevalent at all in Japan. I will keep that on the checklist to be sure to take a class at least so hopefully I can get around a little bit. I've been told the scenic views are just breathtaking though... so it would definately be a journey.
