Hey all,

Just want to say what a awesome site you guys have going here, really good to hear advice from the horses mouth.
Looking at doing europe next year, starting in london and seeing where to from there. Being a poor student looking for any type of work that might pop up, mostly in the uk. Any advice?

Cheers all

Sorry i should just add, I'm coming from Australia and seeing as our exchange rate is so low am looking for a bit of work in the uk to start off with. Really just wondering how easy (or Hard!) it is to find work. I'm pretty much ready to do anything .

Hi there, welcome to the boards, im a newbie to and its a nice freindly place full of info so you will get all the advice you need.

As I live in the Uk I would say that work is available if you want it, there is alot of bar, cafe, resturant work plus stuff like call centre work, there are loads of tempin agencies in England so if you are coming over "above the table" with a working visa then you should be sound.

Good luck and I hope you enjoy our country as much as im going to enjoy yours when I go! Dont forget to look at Scotland and Wales as there is no place on earth like them!
