Hey, My name is Derek and I live in West Virginia. I have backpacked all around the US and now i am about to head to europe for the very first time for a month with one of my best friends who has also never been to europe. I am really excited to go but i do have some concerns. I am only 18 years old and the same for my friend. I am gonna post my concerns under security and s  tuff but just introducing myself! Yeah, you'll find that these folks are really cool about stuff, and there's definitely a huge store of knowledge here between the stuff already posted and the folks online.
We love to promote our 'sport' (travel) and are glad to get new people involved..
