I originally joined last summer, when I thought I'd be travelling in October and November. My plans, unfortunately, fell through--school stuff, etcetera etcetera. Anyway, it all worked out--finally--and I'll be heading out on May 1. My first stop is the UK, where I'll be hiking 200 miles across northern England, followed by a few days in London--or where-ever else strikes my fancy. Then it'll be two weeks in Greece (northern mostly, maybe an island or two), a week in Italy, and back to Heathrow via Switzerland and France. Then I'm off to law school, probably at Northwestern in Chicago.
As for me, I'm 20 and a resident of Seattle, though I grew up in Alaska and Southern California and went to undergrad in NorCal. I'm very into early 20th century history and all things involving the outdoors--I'm currently loving cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
I'll also be doing some travelling on the East Coast before I head out, so let a poor West Coaster know if you've got any ideas on things to see, things to do, places to get a good Americano
