Hi. I'm Kim. I am new, I guess. I live in California. I quit my job here and I'm going to Scotland until they kick me out. You people seem nice. Thanks for answering my questions and stuff. I am really amazed that people seem to actually read every thread in ever section. Go you!

TPunk loves to have ya!!!
hey, how are you? seeing as we read every thread... didn't you mention that your work called and you didn't have to finish your last two weeks? whe do you get to travel?
You're gonna have sooooo much fun in Scotland. I'm guessing (no experience), that without a visa you should be able to get jobs within hostels, and probably some local bars and restaurants. but theres gotta be some more adventerous and silly jobs to be done out there. maybe something with sheep
no but seriously, try the bars and restaurants.

heh, yea they told me not to come back. Everyone keeps telling me they should pay me for those two weeks, but this is the kind of company that would NEVER do that (and I'd only been with them 5 months).
I'm leaving March 3 for London! I'm gonna stay in London for a week. I've contacted people through couchsurfing.com and found someone who will host me. I'm a little scared. I've used to the site before but I had a friend with me. It was really fun though. But still... I HAVE FEAR! And all my friends think I'm gonna get raped/robbed/murdered.

WAAAAAAHOOOO!! LOVE! I wish I had something interesting to say. I'm gonna go pretend to be a tourist in San Francisco tomorrow (or at some point) because I have nothing better to do. What do tourists do there (besides go to the Golden Gate Bridge)? I think I'm gonna buy some keychains to give to people I like while I'm abroad.

Hahah.. I do that all the time.
Other touristy spots in SF: Twin Peaks, Fort Point, the windmills at GG Park, Fishermans Wharf *gag*, riding cable cars
I actually have fun being a tourist in my own city.

PFA is kinda jacked up right now as they're rebuilding the shore around the lake... So you get a magnificent view of cyclone fencing

OMG... must have drastically cut down on the number of weddings occuring in that town... (I think there must be some sort of contract when you move into SF - if you get married, you can only use the PFA for the wedding)

But only a couple of us are friendly, fun-loving people... the rest of us are simply hard-core drunks with a traveling problem...
