Canadians make fun of the Newfs cause they were late joiners, and so were branded the dumb ones. Of course the jokes we say about Newfs are the exact same they tell about the "mainlanders" its a love hate relationship. We tease them, but theyre great people, and you gotta love the newfie talk.
Welcome laje
please say something in Newfie

well there arnt as many jokes about mainlnders as there are about newfies but because we are an island NL is sheltered from the rest of canada.... giving us a very distinct culture from everyone else...... esp in rural NL. i kinda like that in a way. i always here story about newfoundlanders going to the mainland to work and getting shit on just because theyre from here, that i dont understand because newfoundlanders are some of the nicest, generous people in the world, and then we get shit because of the newfoundland accent (which i dont erally have becuase im from the city) which apparently makes us look dumb. i love to crack out the ol baymen talk from time to time, i tend to do that alot when im loaded or just pretending to be a total skeet..... we have some idea that skeets talk like that, its hilarious haha ok well anways im rambling.... say soemthing newfie?? haha i love it when people say that haha it sounds funny to be asked to say something newfie.... its like saying " say something torontonian" or somthing like that haha
in the mean time i know what your getting at
"DONT MINd ME CHICKEN LEGS JUST WAV'ER IN ME MY SON".... you gotta hear the accent for that haha

Its a country of folks just to the north of the US. People there look exactly like Americans, almost sound exactly like Americans, and many times are confused for being Americans, except they are really polite.
A few Canadian facts:
-- Everyone lives in igloos
-- Flannel shirt and jeans are the standard uniform
-- Pet polar bears are common
-- Beer is the official beverage of the entire country
-- They have some cars, but most folks use dog sleds. Easier to get around with the 11.5 months of snow.
Did I cover everything? :D
