Default 7 Years and 1 announcment

Wow...its hard to believe I have been a TPunk for 7 years. Firstly big thanks to the Godfather for making this site and brining all these travellers together.
Secondly I ask that you that please keep this off facebook until I post about it which will be tomorrow. The reason is, this announcement is big to me and I wanted to announce it here first before everyone else (outside of some friends and family) know it.
When I first joined Travel Punk, I was looking for cheap hostels for a trip I was planing/ dreaming about to Argentina. In my 7 years I have learned a lot and have seen some far off places. In my life as a traveller I have been to 13 countries on 3 continents which is not bad for a 27 year old but alas, my goal of going to South America still alludes me...that is until JULY 27TH 2012 WHEN I AM FINALLY GOING TO SOUTH AMERICA!!! I got my tickets booked to BA and from there, Ushuaia, back to BA for a bus trip across Argentina to Santiago, then to Rio and from there I am stuck between going to Salvador or Sao Paolo. I am also with my spare time going to see Uruguay. I will be gone for about 3 and a half weeks and am very exited!
I want to thank my TPunk family for always inspiring me.

CONGRATS!! for achieving one of your dreams! Sounds like you going to be able to pack a ton into 3+ weeks, looking forward to reading about it. It has been a few years, but BA is one of my favorite cities. Brazil is still on the to-do list, though.

When I first joined tpunk many years ago, driving across the state line on my own seemed like a big deal. Now, waking up from an overnight bus trip in a foreign city I have never heard of with no map and nothing but my backpack, is just another day on the road. Thanks for the inspiration and encouragement, travelpunk!

While traveling we faces several problems some of them are serious and may leads losses for us. So its really fine to understand the basic things which are generally occur during traveling and to know the views of other traveler one can easily reduce them.
