Hello all.
I'm 23 and from Vancouver, Canada but am living in Nottingham, England and going to school for the year. I've only been in Notts for less than four weeks so still feeling my way around but will be travelling around a whole bunch before leaving in July 2005.
So ya, I have been reading the boards for a while and seems like a fun place for both tips and good people. I look forward to being able to give advice enventually. I've been to Paris but for 4 days 6 years ago other than that my experience is all in Canada and the US.

Wow, you're gunna have the time of your life up in notting...I had a friend who did an exchange like that last year & she loved it....although she wasnt quite as used to the perma-chill you get from the drizzle (but ure prob. used to lotsa rain being from BC & all)
& you made a very wise decision joining TPUNK....it rox my sox

Welcome to TP Yeah, everytime I've visited the UK I have loved it, though I have never really gotten around there as much as I'd like to. I'm sure you're having a great time.

JiveTurkey, message me when you're around, but I am flying to Paris on the 2nd for a few days (YAY!) so before then.
And I'm finally part of an elite Vancouver club when I don't live there anymore. I don't know if that seems right to me.

Hello again everyone sorry I disappeared for a fair while,
Yes im from Nottingham if anyone wants any info on anything let me know, it's great and are rating in the worst city’s in England is very unfair. We don’t even get a mention in the Lonely Planet Europe guide. And as for the worst city’s they blame the gun crime problem for our ratting don't worry you in the US we only have 1 shooting a week in Nottingham.
