Sa-wut Dee ninjakendra! i always wanted to go to thailand. my trip to thailand bombed 3 years ago when i lost my job unexpectedly and lost my trip money as a result because i had to pay for school.

i was planning on going to Hua Hin. where are you planning on going?

welcome to the boards!

thanks again to everyone.

as for where exactly, i'm not sure yet. my friend is doing more planning than me, i just find out info we'll need on customs, language, innoculations, etc. so i don't know all the places we're going yet. but for sure Bangkok, probably Ayuthaya, and we also wanna hit up the beaches in the south and try to go to a Full Moon party.

what is it about the full moon party you're interested in? just curious as i have zero interest in attending one myself, but i'm nearly an old prude.

Joan you are an old prude? Does that mean you run to the store to get the Prune Juice when its on sale?

Joan, you are not a prude, you are one of the wildest girls here.

hau hin is south west of bangkok and there is a train from bangkok that will take you there. it is on the gulf of thailand side, not the andaman sea side. you should check it out as a possible stop on your little adventure. and if you do stop there, you'll have to tell me all about it.
