thanks everyone!! :cheers: Yesterday I wandered around Paris all day in the cold wind and rain, got a little tipsy and wandered around some more, sobered up in time to catch a night train to München (where I am now) and then proceeded to make my way through the business end of a bottle of malibu rum. Yeah, it ain't strong but I'm pretty much a lightweight and it did the trick. Unfortunately for some reason it made me unable to sleep until around 4:00am, and our train was getting in at 9:00. So I feel a little funky now, but Eva and I are going to head to the Augustiner Biergarten in a while to attempt to lift beer steins that are larger than my head. lol But the weather is shit. Man, do I miss Nice right about now!! It's about 40 degrees fahrenheit, rainy and windy. Tomorrow we're going to see the castles though. ;)

Yeah, SV, every once in awhile on the road, you have those total washout days. Great for spending in pubs. I remember a summer in Scotland where the weather forced us in there more than our share of times, to hear old timers grousing, "Ach, this is the rainiest soomer I ken remember..."

Oh, well. We pretty much were able to try every ale, beer and cider we ran across...!
