Hello!
My name is Bob. I'm a Canadian guy who has not traveled much before, but intends on changing that early next year. I would love to backpack around Europe, and hope to gain tips and knowledge here from those who can help, which is why I joined this board.

Hey Bob... Last spring was my first time traveling for an extended period of time. I spent 5 weeks all across Europe. I was extremely nervous before I went, but as I got there, everything went as smoothly as imaginable!
My advice to you is read through this board, get as much info as possible, and don't let your nerves get in the way of a trip of a lifetime!

Thanks for the welcome, guys.
As for where I'd like to go in Europe, I'm considering Amsterdam, where I've got some friends and hopefully Paris and Madrid. I'm still figuring out the rest right now, and what will be feasible for me next year.
