Default Hi

Hey guys,

i'm new to the forums, so here's a little about myself. I just got back from an ERASMUS year in Italy. Living and studying in Bologna was an amazing experience that I would recommend for everyone! I love traveling, and also writing about my travels. Ever since I interrailed when I was 18, I was bitten by the bug hehe... at the moment I am planning my RTW trip for next summer. Thinking Asia and South America would be a good option. Any advice from people who have done this would be massively appreciated!

would like to share my travel writing website with you guys, but cant post any URL's, maybe another time

Welcome to the boards! Can't help you with the South America/Asia stuff, but I'm sure someone around here can.

RTW is something I've never done and always wanted to do... I'm very jealous. Next summer for me perhaps.

Hey guys!

Just the idea of a RTW trip is exciting, i've done most of Europe, so think it's about time I see the rest of the world
I would have loved to be arranging the trip with another person, but I reckon the costs / spontaneous nature of it will rule out any of my friends hehe

Have a rough outline of a route...
Fly from england to iceland
Fly from iceland to finland
Transiberian railway from russia to china
Overland China to Indonesia
Fly from Indonesia to Australia
Fly from Australia to Brazil
Overland Brazil to Ecuador
Then depending on money, either travel through Central America, or fly to American and work my way up to canada.

What you reckon?
