Ciao! a.k.a. Saint Robert
Long time member, rarely a posting. All my life traveling, living and working in different countries.
Some of the other place's I've been to are England (Mildenhall), Denmark, Sweden, Netherland, Belgium, Luxemburg, Germany (Kaiserslautern, Mannhiem), France (Paris), Corsica, Spain, Balearic Islands (Mallorca - Palma), Portugal, Switzerland, Leichenstein, Austria, Italy (Rome, Naples), Sardina (La Maddalena, Palu), Sicily (Sigonella), Vatican City, San Marino, Israel (Tel Aviv), Palestinian Authority, Turkey, Jordan, Saudi Arabia (Riyadh) , Iraq (An Nasiriyah, Al Qa'im), Kuwait (Kuwait City), U.A.E (Dubai), Thailand (Phuket), Japan, Philippines (Manila), Mexico, Canada (Yukon), U.S.(VA, MD, TN, NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, MS, LA, TX, OK, AR, KS, NM, AZ, CA, WI, OH, IL, HI, AK) Australia (Sydney) and New Zealand (Christchurch), um..thats it, so far. Until next month (Mar 07) when I go to China.
I see myself as just a traveler on a very long journey and my personal restlessness to experience new things keeps me moving. Right now, my "day job" has me working and living in a camp in Iraq, in the SYRIAN DESERT. When I get time off for R&R. I travel to someplace new for a month. So, basicly I'm taking jobs that are in different countries and working to pay for my travels to other countries...
"You have only ONE LIFE, why waste it staying home... when there's a whole world to explore with all your senses."
Enjoy your journey and remember "things happen for a reason."
Traveler, a.k.a. Saint Robert

I'll like to add "China" officially to my list of countries. The cities, were Hong Kong (where I got my Visa to enter China). Shanghi, Xian and Bejing.
Enjoyed the city of HK and Shanghi, saw the Terra-Cotta warriors in Xian, and did the Great Wall, Forbidden Place, Heaven Palace and T-Square.

Oh, I'm now planning on going back to Thailand again (to get visa) and from there also do Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam. Hopefully, 20 days will be enough to do all that. I easily get side track if I find a good bar...

May I ask what you are doing (or did) in the desert of Iraq? That has got to be an interesting story.
