HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!
Now we all get to get fat!
Favorite Thanksgiving food? (sorry those from countries that don't celebrate national gluttony day)
Mine has got to be the brown sugar, marshmellow and buttered yams my mother makes... amaaazing
(btw.. when is it EVER about the indians and the pilgrims? i mean seriously... everyone just likes the food..)

They did a short report about thanksgiving on the news for kids over here. They discribed it as a cross between Paddys day and Christmas. We have almost the same meal for Christmas as ye have for thanksgiving.

What is Grape pie? Don't you know the national desert on Thanksgiving is Pumpkin Pie?
It was great having the family over for dinner - which AMAZINGLY came together at the same time. (I'm notorious for getting the side dishes done WAY before the turkey.) I didn't even yell at anyone in my kitchen while I was cooking!
I was even one of those crazies in line at 3:30 this morning trying to get a laptop on special. Unfortunately, they went to people who started lining up at 7:00 LAST NIGHT! I'm not THAT crazy.

Hope everyone had a great T-day yesterday!!
In my area, not sure if this is true country wide, Thanksgiving eve is the biggest bar night of the year. Nothing like Turkey to get rid of a hangover!

I am patting myself on the back for not eating nearly as much as I could have....
That said I still ate a lot of our fam favorites: oyster stuffing and sweet potatoes! Yum!
