Name: Georgia, Game: planning not doing. Still under the 1-8 and sitting on my ass dreaming in the meanwhile, theres so much to experience out there and so little I've managed to grasp. Saving $ as long as I can remember and thus asking for some tips- youth trip recommendations, if any? places to look into, research, fantasize about...? Oppunities for overseas school, work volunteering? Hostelling, much?you were here once too, so shout.
lots of love and keep inspirational... </span>

Hey Georgia. Your exuberence is inspiring. Check out our boards, specifically the General Tips, the region boards (western europe? south america? antartica?) and the hostels reccommended board. Welcome to tpunk, dive in and enjoy!

Hi Georgia!
Welcome to the boards!
The starting stages are seriously my favourite time of planning! The daydreaming about foreign beaches and cultures! There is a whole world out there and it's not quite as small as people might have you believe.
<<Game: planning not doing.>>
Bah! Planning is part of the fun but definitely not as exciting as getting on that plane for your first ride overseas! This ain't the place for not doing 'cause we're bad for getting travelling ideas into people's heads!
Have a great time on the boards and if you have any questions, just ask!

Go to India. Get a job in a call center. Work a bit, make a bit: it goes a long way there. That's the way to do it.
Or if you're in school, do a semester at sea. That's a great way to see the world in an orderly first time fashion. Learn another language. Dont forget that there's a lot to see and do in the US.
