Default Lost in London

I have not had a good day.

Bascially I'm in London looking for a place to stay tonight but it seems every single bed is taken, except the ones I cannot possibly afford.

Does anyone have any advice about what to do in this situation? (or perhaps offer me a place to stay )

Well, if you fancy a trip to Colchester (an hour on the train from Liverpool Street or two hours by bus from Victoria), you're more than welcome to sleep on my floor.

If you're still desperate and bedless, head to one of the airports... I'm guessing heathrow would be the best, quite close and cheap to get to compared to, for instance, evil evil stansted. There will be plenty of people sleeping there.
How's life, btw?

I agree man, sleeping in the airport might not be the most comfortable, but it is free and safe! (relatively, keep your pack straps around your leg or arm while sleeping), see you in Amsterdam

i had no place to stay in london and i ended up at a B&B near Victoria station.. my friend and i got a double room for 40 pounds, which was way more than what we wanted to pay but we were desperate. it was recommended to us by another b&b owner who was pretty confident that they always have spare rooms. it's called the Victoria Station Hotel, 270/280 Vauxhall Bridge Rd, Victoria ph 020-78342751. Its pretty dodgy but its a bed and your own room and some cornflakes and toast in the morning.

Thanks a lot guys.

I ended up finding a guest house in Acton which cost me Ł30 and smelled like an ashtray. It was a little pricey for me but I was happy enough to have somewhere warm to stay.

Generator was booked solid, in fact everything on hostelworld was booked except for one place that cost $168AUD

Lifes great thanks Louse, except for yesterday which was a tad stressful.
