I did the bridge climb. Once you've seen one view of the harbour you've seen 'em all. The climb wasn't challenging enough to be fun, so personally I'd give it a miss.

But if it's a Sydney thing you gotta do, then do it. It's a day out at the least.

Then come to Melbourne and visit me!

Also known as a goon bag when the box is removed. It'll cost you about 18-20 of them to climb the bridge. I think they only accept cash and credit though.

I also skipped the bridge climb, wanted to save my money. I told you about the didgeridoo show in Darling Harbour, right? If you like that kind of stuff, its pretty cool (if you are still in Sydney).

Hope your trip is going great!

well i lookd up flights and they are not cheap for any of those places.

i will be in carins and to fly to alice its 360au one way.

its the same to darwin.

then from whichever city i end up at i need to fly back to sydney (thats where i plane leaves from) so i guess thats another 300au ticket.

help! where should i go??????

Re; bridge climb.

I grew up in Sydney and am quite accustomed to introducing people to my beautiful city. For those on a budget, I would shun the bridge climb and instead do the pylon climb (south pylon, city side of the brdige, enter on the walkway beside the road). It costs about $12 and is a worthy alternative to the full blown bridge climb for those on a budget.

On your way up the coast, be sure to go to Fraser Island! Probably one of, if not my favorite place in OZ.
