Try Bob's they reserve some beds for walk-ins. You can Also do the Flying Pig by the beach which is roughly 20 mins by train I think. Hope this helps.

Hello my friend. So I started searching online for you, and the only places showing availability are all three Flying Pigs. Uptown, Downtown, and Beach. They range 16-20 per night. Other than that, its hard to find a place on a Fri. I wish you the best of luck. You could always just float around coffee shops all night and wander around. There are some late night coffee shops around. But you should have no prob. at the Pig. I only checked for tonights availability. Have good travels!

Oh Yeah, you can always sleep at Schipoll airport. It is totally safe, and they don't mind at all. If you wander around long enough, you will find all kinds of great places in the airport to sleep. Just try to corner yourself so you can keep watch on your stuff. The airport totally doesnt mind so don't worry. Good luck.

Hotel Kabul down by the Hill Street Blues Cafe, just behind the Grasshopper down by the Red Light District is very cheap and always has rooms. I must stress you get what you pay for but as long as you're not looking for the Ritz this is alright to get your head down in until you find something better.

I've stayed there twice and it has always been ok and a great place to access all the local atractions (cough cough)! Plus Hill Street Blues is a great chilled out cafe which sells good weed!

well, i did manage to book a bed at the aokay HI hostel, unfortionately for the 9th until the 12th sept. I tried all the flying pigs, as well as bob's and they''re all fully booked. It's crazy how they''re aren't any vacancies in this town! anyhow, i can just pull an all-nighter, probably just linger around the red light district or something. thanks guys for your help though
lol, the cheapest hotels in town go for minimum 110 euro! and they''re not even in town, they''re located in Haarlem!

Sorry you didn't get lucky at any of the Pigs. Thats weird though, because I had two different hostel booking sites say they had vacancies for Fri. Oh well. Hope your long night on the streets goes well. If you can't take it any more and need to sleep, I would definately jump a train to Schipoll and catch a few hours sleep in a safe environment (well relatively safe). Lots of people nap in Vondell Park as well if you know where that is. Not very hard to find. Hope the rest of your stay goes smoothly, and I am very jealous. I have another 9 months before I get to go back to A-Dam. I was there last month, and mentally still am. Be safe and happy traveling. Oh yeah, The red light district isn't exactly where I would linger around in the middle of the night. Watch out for the "Charlie Boys" They are the ones whispering "cocaine, extacy" in your ear. There stuff is shit, and they will rob you as well. I would find a residential area or something for the wee hours of the night. Be safe

Did you try lining up at the Pig in the morning? They always reserve some spaces for walk-in's on a first-come, first-served basis. The only trouble is you have to get in line as early as 6 am to see if you can get in!

Dude! Check out Amsterdam Se Bos campgroungs! I tell people about this place everytime someone is stranded in Adam. It's on the bus route and if you rent a bike it's a managable ride into Adam. I wanna say it's 10 euros, maybe 8 euros a night. One of the best places I've ever stayed. GO CAMPING! They have everything you need, tent, showers, etc. Plus it's a cool place to chill, lots of interesting travelers and locals.

Thats so freakin cool. I was actually a bit worried about you hangin in the redlight all night. I hope you found a good place at Schipoll. I know there are all kinds of places in there to sleep, and food, bathrooms, showers, etc... Super glad to hear that worked for you. I've known people to sleep there for several nights and tour the city during the day. If you don't mind being a little uncomfortable, its free. DUDE have fun!!!!

lol, one should also watch out for the Junkies, not only are they multilingual, their f***** persistant! I'm naturally a good natured person, but dammit one junkie followed me all the way to the train station just because i said "hello" to him!
