We have from the 25th to the 30th of July free, and we're trying to figure out what to do before the prices go up for airfare etc... We're debating going to Greece, visiting an Island such as Santorini, and then heading back to Athens to fly into London (where we will be catching our flight home to the states) OR taking a ferry to debrovnik and then taking a flight to London. The only setback is that we would have to fly out of Zagreb if we went to croatia, and i have no idea how to get there or how much it will cost. We want to book soon, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

ive been to corfu, and that was great fun....good island to have exploring in a jeep etc...plenty of cool hidden beaches and villiages off the beaten track
i havnt been to croatia but have only heard good things about there as well... flights would be easyer and cheaper from athens of course |
croatia is awesome. dubrovnik is beautiful and zagreb has cafe culture and clubs. trains don't run to dubrovnik though so you have to take the bus. from there you can go to split, then on to zagreb by either train or bus. the road twists and turns along the coast for a while. it was actually making me sick. oh, and you'll actually go through a little bit of bosnia & herzigovina from dubrovnik to split. i haven't been to greece, but i heard the island are awesome, but i also heard the croatian islands are awesome, but didn't have a chance to check them out. hope this helps at least a little.
